As a Production Detailer, you will create high-quality, production-ready drawings aligned with client expectations and manufacturing processes. You will convert architectural plans into detailed documentation, ensure compliance with construction standards, and support accurate, on-time project releases.

The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum 3 years relevant Cabinet Making Trade Qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to read architectural plans and develop accurate working drawings
- Strong understanding of cabinetmaking and residential construction processes
- Ability to visualize design concepts
- High-level computer literacy including CAD/drafting software and Microsoft Suite
- Competent with processes and systems
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Impeccable problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Your Daily Tasks
Key Functions
- Create high-quality, detailed drawings incorporating all relevant information in accordance with client expectations
- Convert client plans and specifications into production drawings
- Provide accurate job notes, detail sheets, and documentation necessary for production
Descriptors
- Create accurate drawings suitable for client assessment using the company's drawing package, based on pre-drafted designs from site measures, plans, and specifications
- Create plans and documents suitable for production, assembly, and installation, including parts breakdowns and technical specifications where required
- Produce drawings aligned with manufacturing processes and procedures
- Release jobs with hardware lists, materials requisitions, and special construction notes
- Liaise with the Drafting Team Leader for relevant information
- Meet production deadlines within predetermined schedules
- Work within supplied quotes and resolve technical challenges
- Maintain knowledge of manufacturing methods, recommend efficient processes, and reduce potential onsite defects
Performance Indicators / Measures
- Drawings accurately reflect designs and builder documents and are easy to interpret by clients, including 3D renders if requested
- Production plans are created with accuracy and special requirements are clearly noted
- Drawings comply with company manufacturing methods
- Cutting lists are complete, accurate, and delivered within manufacturing timelines
- Jobs are released accurately, with attention to special construction details
- Missing or unclear information is clarified with relevant stakeholders
- Production schedules and deadlines are factored in, with issues promptly resolved
- Specifications align with supplied quotes, and discrepancies are addressed appropriately
- Stay up to date with company methods to recommend efficient, error-reducing solutions
