Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Associate shall support the Mill Operators in addressing any operational issues that may arise during the shift, from the Cleaning House to the Mill section, in order to minimize overall milling process downtime. In addition, the Production Associate will assist the Mill Operators in performing their responsibilities, including but not limited to monitoring, data recording, and ensuring proper load balancing in the mill and cleaning house.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor and record the ingredients feed rate in all mills, ensuring that the desired dosage per established QA standards is consistently attained.
- Ensure the availability of premix ingredients required for the entire mill shift operation.
- Coordinate with Mill Operators and Flour Packers regarding samples to be gathered and delivered to QA for analysis during regular sampling periods.
3.1. Includes collection of Special Samples when necessary.
- Monitor and record dust collector differential pressure, ensuring it remains within the range set by the machine manufacturer.
- Assist Mill Operators in troubleshooting operational problems that may occur in either the cleaning or milling section.
- Assist in the opening and cleaning of sifters when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment to minimize the presence of contaminants and ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
SAP Support and Troubleshooting
- Ensure accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to assigned processes, including:
1.1. Recording of information
1.2. Report generation in designated forms and platforms (e.g., SAP)
- Integrate with other parties/functions whose processes interface with their own to ensure:
2.1. Alignment
2.2. Efficient process flow
2.3. Effective implementation of controls

General Tasks
- May be assigned/appointed in any of the following:
1.1. Core group member in any of the company's committees or Integrated Programs
1.2. Flour Mill Department System Writer
1.3. Auditor for 5S/GMP/HACCP, ISO, and Halal
- Required to be a member of the Quality Improvement Team (QIT) within the department and may also be requested to join a cross-functional project team.
- Expected to participate in company programs, meetings, and discussions, and contribute innovations and suggestions for improvement in the following areas:

- Shall take a prominent role in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as ISO, 5S/GMP/HACCP, and Halal.
- May be assigned other related tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
Food Safety
- Ensure execution of quality, Halal, health, and food safety policies, standards, and regulations within the team.
- Report any problems related to Halal, food safety, and the quality management system to the designated authorities.
Qualifications
Education:
- A graduate of a four-year course preferably with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background, or BS Industrial Automation & Mechatronics
Experience
- Experience in related work is preferred but not necessary.
Licenses
- Licensed ME/EE is preferred
