Tasks and Responsibilities(not limited to)
- Support the Product Manager in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop a solid understanding of vendor products, processes, bidding procedures, and vendor tools.
- Submit and request deal registrations for partners.
- Request bid pricing for end-user and stocking opportunities, and provide accurate quotations to partners.
- Manage partner requests and general inquiries, including product information, ETA updates, and pricing.
- Configure and design infrastructure solutions using vendor configurators.
- Monitor and manage backorder reports and sell-through data.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
- Understand vendor pricing programs and ensure accurate reflection in channel price lists for customers.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and initiatives to drive demand generation.
- Manage pricing breaks, product catalogues, and publish price lists for customers and internal sales teams.
- Organize and deliver internal sales training and enablement sessions.
- Acquire, develop, and maintain customer accounts.
- Manage vendor claims and ensure timely processing of payments.
- Monitor portfolio margins and vendor rebate attainment.
- Own and deliver vendor and company targets end-to-end.
- Forecast sales and pipeline performance; identify gaps and implement action plans.
- Manage stock ordering and forecasting, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing aged or obsolete stock.
- Proactively engage key customers to generate repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, BDMs, and other stakeholders to drive new business opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Strong experience in PC devices, servers, storage, or IT channel/distribution sales.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.
- Self-motivated, creative, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building abilities.
- Skilled negotiator with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
- Effective team player who can also work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong analytical skills.
- Confident in handling outbound and inbound calls.
- Able to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement process improvements.
