Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Specialist role based in Manila with Glenmark Philippines Inc. The Product Specialist will promote assigned pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate, ethical, and compliant product information is communicated. Daily responsibilities include conducting regular field visits, organizing product presentations, maintaining strong relationships with medical practitioners, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. The role involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights that support product positioning and strategy. The Product Specialist will also collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets, manage territory planning, and ensure high standards of customer service and brand representation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Product Specialist or similar pharmaceutical field role, with strong understanding of product positioning and territory management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights for strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging healthcare professionals, delivering presentations, and providing clear product information.
• Customer service and sales skills to build long-term relationships, respond to inquiries, and support achievement of revenue objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical industry).
• Ability to work independently in the field, organize schedules efficiently, and meet agreed performance targets.
• Comfort working in a highly regulated environment and adhering to ethical standards, industry codes, and company policies.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare sectors in Manila or nearby areas is an advantage.
