Be our next Product Planning Assistant Manager!

The position manages the full vehicle lifecycle and regulatory compliance while bridging the gap between market demands and key stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.

The main responsibilities of a PRODUCT PLANNING ASSISTANT MANAGER include:

  • Regulatory Compliance & Homologation
  • Coordinate with industry associations and government agencies (DOC, DENR, LTD, etc.) to ensure full compliance with all local regulations, including emission standards, fuel efficiency, and timely submission of certification documents (CNCS/COC).
  • Represent the company in Monthly CAMPI TECHCOM Meetings to stay updated on industry regulations, technical requirements, and their impact on product specifications.
  • Support all necessary product and dynamic testing actfilties to validate vetide safety durability, and regulatory conformity.
  • Product Management & Strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic pricing strategies (FOBs, SRPs) and positioning to ensure
  • optimal competitiveness and profitability throughout the product lifecycle
  • Conduct detailed feature value analysis (USPs) to clearly define and highlight the competitive advantages and core messaging of each model
  • Monitor the product lifecycle and implement effective sustaining strategies (variant refreshes, upgrades, repositioning, special editions) to maximize sales opportunities
  • Manage localization projects and special editions to meet unique local market demands.
  • Product Validation & Readiness
  • Ensure the accuracy of all product specifications used in internal documents, marketing materials, and training content by performing rigorous spes checking against OEM data and homologation documents.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering/Customer Service Development (CSD) teams on product testing, technical validation, warranty programs, and the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Prepare and finalize all required Product Knowledge Content (e.g., USPs, Feature Value Analysis, Competitive Comparison Guides) to enable effective product familiarization and readiness training for the Sales and Dealer Networks.
  • Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing for the execution of launch campaigns, product messaging, and press materials, ensuring alignment on positioning.
  • Work closely with Sales and Dealer Networks to collect market feedback, track demand forecasts, and support dealer readiness activities.
  • Engage with key external stakeholders including Fleet Clients, Media Partners, and influential Dealers to present and communicate key product messages, and address technical inquiries.
  • Provide OEM support for regional or global product-related projects or data requirements.
  • Market Intelligence & Long-Term Planning
  • Monitor competitor product introductions, pricing actions, and long-term strategies to ensure product plans remain proactive and competitive.
  • Support long-term product planning by identifying customer needs, anticipating regulatory changes, and tracking emerging automotive trends (e.g., electrification, connectivity).

To be successful in this role you must be

  • A graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experienced for 35 years in product planning and brand management, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledgeable in vehicle homologation, strategic pricing, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, data analysis tools, presentation software, and project management.
  • A Strategic Thinker capable of aligning product strategy with market demands and long-term company vision.
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret market data and product performance metrics to drive decisions.
  • Expert in Regulatory Compliance with deep familiarity with local automotive standards and technical requirements.
  • An Excellent Communicator skilled at engaging technical teams, government agencies, and media stakeholders.
  • Collaborative with a proven ability to work across internal departments (Sales, Marketing, CSD) and with external partners.
  • Detail-Oriented to ensure absolute accuracy in pricing, specifications, and homologation documentation.

Working pattern and location:

  • Join Date: January 2026
  • Employment Type: Full-time Employee
  • Work Location: On-site
  • Working Hours: 45 hours, 5 days per week (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday
  • Location: 728 A. Bonifacio Ave., Balintawak, Quezon City, Philippines.
