Job Summary:
This role will lead the end-to-end production management of editorial workflows and tooling within the L+CP platform.
This is not a traditional roadmap-focused Product Manager role. You will not primarily focus on feature delivery. Instead, you will define and drive the systems, governance models, and strategic frameworks that determine how editorial work is prioritized, executed, and scaled across the organization.
You will establish the operating model for editorial tooling and automation—bringing structure and discipline to a currently fragmented landscape. This includes defining governance, clarifying decision rights, and ensuring that investments are aligned to measurable outcomes.
In parallel, you will lead the effort to understand and reimagine editorial workflows across all content types and business units. You will identify systemic inefficiencies and define a future-state vision that enables faster, more consistent, and more scalable content delivery.
This role requires strong influence across Editorial and Engineering leadership and will play a critical role in shaping how the organization evolves its editorial platform.
Accountabilities:
- Defining and implementing governance models for editorial tooling and content workflow development, including intake, prioritization, and execution frameworks. Establishing clear ownership, decision-making structures, and success metrics.
- Developing a comprehensive strategy for editorial systems, including rationalization of existing tools and alignment to long-term platform goals.
- Leading the mapping of current-state workflows across all content types and business units. Identifying systemic inefficiencies and defining future-state workflows.
- Driving alignment across Editorial and Engineering leadership to adopt new processes, frameworks, and ways of working.
- Establishing transparency into editorial tooling and workflow investments, enabling more informed prioritization and trade-off decisions.
- Influencing cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of governance and process improvements, even in the absence of direct authority.
- Serving as the product owner for the editorial domain within L+CP, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder
- 8-10 years of experience in Product Management, systems design, or process transformation within software organizations.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale process or operational transformations in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Deep expertise in systems thinking, workflow design, and organizational scaling.
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Excellent strategic thinking combined with executional rigor.
- Preferably with experience in editorial, publishing, or content platforms.
- Background in systems engineering, industrial engineering, or similar disciplines is a plus
- Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent advanced process improvement experience) is a plus
- Experience working within platform-based or highly matrixed organizations is preferred
