The Product Manager will support the identification, evaluation, and development of new automotive electronic product opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and hands-on, and who enjoys going into the market to uncover new ideas whether that means identifying products MAKS should buy and resell, develop internally, or avoid altogether.

You will work closely with engineering, diagnostics, operations, and U.S.-based leadership to turn research and insights into actionable product recommendations.

This is an on-site role in Dumaguete and will involve collaboration across teams, analysis of technical feasibility, and ongoing market research.

• Conduct ongoing market research to identify new product opportunities in automotive electronics and related aftermarket components
• Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, availability, and quality
• Gather insights from customers, technicians, dealers, retailers, and internal teams
• Identify unmet needs, common failures, and high-demand modules in the market

• Propose new product ideas, including:
• Buy-and-resell opportunities
• In-house repair or rebuild development
• Product line expansions or enhancements
• Perform initial feasibility assessments, including:
• Technical complexity
• Repairability or sourcing considerations
• Cost, margin, and volume potential
• Present clear recommendations supported by data and research

• Work with engineering and diagnostics teams to understand technical limitations and opportunities
• Coordinate with operations and quality teams to assess scalability and risks
• Support leadership with product documentation, research summaries, and reports

• Assist with product documentation, specifications, and internal alignment
• Track early performance of newly introduced products
• Support continuous improvement initiatives based on data, returns, and feedback

• Maintain organized product research files, market analyses, and recommendations
• Support ISO-aligned documentation and structured product evaluation processes
  

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 14 years of experience in product management, product research, business analysis, technical project coordination, or a similar role
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into clear recommendations
• Comfortable working with technical information and complex systems
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willingness to work on-site in Dumaguete and engage directly with teams
  

• Exposure to automotive, electronics, manufacturing, or technical services industries
• Experience conducting market or competitor research
• Familiarity with aftermarket products, repair services, or technical operations
• Experience working with international or U.S.-based teams
