About the role

At Salmon, we are committed to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing innovative financial solutions. As a Product Manager for SME Lending, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our SME lending products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of SME lending and make a significant impact on businesses worldwide.

Key duties include:

1. Product Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for SME lending, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
• Define product roadmaps and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business priorities.

2. Product Development and Launch:

• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to conceptualize, build, and launch new SME lending products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create user stories, and ensure smooth product development and delivery.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee a seamless customer experience.

3. Product Performance and Optimization:

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with data analysts to derive insights from customer data, user behavior, and market trends, using this information to optimize products.
• Implement A/B testing and user feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance product usability and functionality.

4. Customer Engagement and Support:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns to drive product adoption.
• Provide product training and support to internal teams, customer service, and relationship managers to ensure a deep understanding of the SME lending products.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in SME lending from fintech companies or traditional banks

- Strong understanding of SME lending products, market dynamics, and customer needs.

- Exceptional project management and leadership skills with a track record of delivering successful products.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize product performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present product strategies effectively.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in the financial industry.

- Has experience in handling multiple markets, Philippines included

- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
