Job Description

Job Purpose

To develop, prepare, evaluate and implement marketing plans, programmes and promotional expenses for assigned products to achieve sales and market share targets in line with corporate policies and commercial Objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Planning - prepares and develops short, medium and long-term marketing plans
  • Implementation and control - ensures timely and appropriate implementation of marketing programmes within the approved promotional budget
  • Coordination - coordinates and motivates staff and line personnel to perform tasks to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Monitoring - Continuously monitors and reviews the implementation of the plans and recommends changes as appropriate to meet different market conditions.

OTHERS:

  • Handles major department endeavors as assigned by superior keeps up to date on product knowledge and competitive information
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions, and continuously improving department

processes to maintain product and service quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 1+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
  • Preferably with a Pharmaceutical Background
  • Good Communication
  • Marketing Aptitude
  • Pleasant Personality

Key Competencies

Insights - The ability to discover insight using multiple sources (e.g., customer and patient contact, sales representative feedback, and market research) to gain a deeper understanding of patients, prescribers within a competitive context. Applies these insights to inform and drive key marketing decisions.

Brand Building - The ability to develop and validate a differentiated Brand Positioning that is sustainable and competitive. Defines Brand Identity Guidelines that describe how the brand is meaningfully and consistently brought to life. Champions the brand over time.

Opportunity seizing - The ability to conduct analysis to identify the priority opportunities within a portfolio or for a brand. Sets an ambition, and creates and evaluates alternative strategies to maximize return. Thinks through how to effectively launch or grow the brand.

Commercial Acumen - Uses and interprets appropriate data to inform and make robust strategic and investment decisions for a brand or portfolio. Tracks and evaluates performance against defined KPIs and targets. Applies learnings to improve short- and long-term business performance. Demonstrates ability to produce robust financial forecasts.

Execution - Engages appropriately with internal and external partners, e.g. salesforce, medical, agencies, physicians, and patient groups to develop and systematically execute integrated programs and activities that have a clear line of sight to the brand strategies.
