ROLE OVERVIEW
PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT.
- Leads the product life cycle management and applies in-depth understanding of relevant market, touchpoints, business and customer dynamics (through the use of various data, researches and insighting tools) in the creation of go-to-market plans.
- Champions proactive response to changes brought about by new challenges and opportunities (e.g. competition, consumer needs).
- Drives commercialization of new solutions for the core business, including post-launch reviews.
DEVELOPMENT OF BRAND VISION, GROWTH STRATEGY AND ARCHITECTURE
- Leads the development of brand vision, short / long-term growth strategies, and architecture.
- Leads the brand team in ensuring sustainable business growth and strengthening of brand equity over time.
MARKETING / CAMPAIGN PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION.
- Translates strategic priorities into operational reality by driving end-to-end management of marketing campaigns and programs from ideation to execution, including oversight of executions handled by direct report.
- Drives responsible experimentation and develops in others the passion for innovation by constantly encouraging the generation and testing of new ideas.
- Builds relationship with relevant stakeholders and effectively communicates the marketing plan/campaign that will lead to the desired results. Drives synthesis of key learnings and recommends way forward for program replicability and sustainability.
OVERALL STEWARDSHIP OF BUSINESS PLANNING/INTEGRATION AND P&L.
- Leads discussions with brand team and internal partners for effective business planning.
- Drives end-to-end business planning and management for the product handled (marketing, demand/supply chain, financials).
- Oversees the management of resources and reviews financial impact of brand plans.
- Leads the identification and go after opportunities to deliver cost efficiencies / business results and optimizes brand profitability.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT.
- Encourages individual contributions, drives delivery of excellent business results, and assumes command responsibility for the direct report's actions and development.
- Regularly assesses employee performance and ensures career development.
- Facilitates regular feedback with direct report to ensure proper coaching and alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Management, BS Business Administration, BS Economics or any Management / Marketing Course
- With at least 5 years of experience in marketing or related field such as sales
- With excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly, logically, and in an organized manner
- Demonstrates strong interest in pursuing a career in Brand/Product Management, with clear commitment to this function.
- Highly driven and results-oriented, with a strong motivation to succeed and grow in the role.
