Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for driving the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the bank's Loans, CASA (Current and Savings Account), and ATM products. The role involves managing the full product lifecyclefrom conceptualization, development, and launch to ongoing enhancement and performance trackingensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of retail banking dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive positioning, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Operations, Risk, Marketing, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Development
- Develop and execute product strategies for Loans, CASA, and ATM portfolios that align with the bank's business goals and customer segments.
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product differentiation.
- Conceptualize and design new products, features, and pricing models that improve customer experience and profitability.
- Manage product development from ideation to rollout, ensuring timely implementation in coordination with relevant departments.
Portfolio Management and Performance
- Monitor product performance metrics (e.g., portfolio growth, profitability, utilization, and share of wallet) and recommend actions to optimize results.
- Analyze customer and transaction data to identify usage patterns and develop targeted acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives.
- Conduct periodic product reviews and implement enhancements to maintain competitiveness.
- Work with Finance and Risk to manage pricing, margins, and cost efficiency for sustainable profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Distribution teams to design and execute campaigns that drive acquisition and usage of Loans, CASA, and ATM services.
- Coordinate with IT and Operations for process automation, system improvements, and customer journey enhancement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with internal policies and audit standards.
Customer Experience and Innovation
- Drive initiatives to simplify and digitize customer touchpoints related to loan applications, CASA transactions, and ATM usage.
- Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable product and process improvements.
- Champion customer-centric design and innovation within the banking product suite.
