About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to lead product innovation and drive continuous improvements for the Credit Bureau business of CIBI Information Inc. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from concept and development to launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancements. You will serve as the key coordinator and project lead for your product suite, working closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to support client engagements and ensure high performance and service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about bringing impactful products to market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Product Lifecycle Performance
- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or feature set changes for all related solutions.
- Bring new products to market by analyzing market needs and proposed feature sets, defining business requirements and product development programs, and establishing time schedules with development and IT teams.
- Responsible for commercialization of the product line, including preparation of a business case and return-on-investment analyses; monitoring actual performance against the initial business case, and recommending intervention strategies where required.
- Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
Undertake Market and Customer Research
- Determine customers needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Assess market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors products.
- Obtain product market share by working with the sales director to develop product sales strategies.
- Share relevant research and data to support sound decision-making by keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry at the country and international level.
Develop Go-to-Market Strategies
- Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with advertising, and production.
- Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; and costing special and customized projects.
- Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Assess product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
Collaboration and Ad hoc tasks
- Collaborate with numerous departments across the business, specifically with Sales, Marketing, Data, Analytics, IT and Finance.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
- Ensure compliance with the information security management system (ISMS) by protecting data, managing access, attending necessary training, and promptly reporting security incidents.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management from time to time, consistent with the purpose and level of responsibility of the position.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Background
- Graduate of BS Marketing/Management or any related business course/degree
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, business development, or product design and development
- Familiarity with driving product revenue is highly preferred
- Experience in the banking industry and financial technology is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage mid-to-large-size product development and launch projects
- Skilled in facilitating effective communication and teamwork between internal teams and external partners/vendors
