Job Summary
Assists the team in managing the product portfolio to ensure that new products are launched as planned and profit targets are met. Also assist in implementing product-related campaigns, crafting marketing materials and training the trainers and agents among others.
- Assist head in managing the product portfolio of the agency distribution channel and conduct strategic review on product lines including Direct to Customers strategy.
- Work as alternate Product Owner of small to mid-scale product development project and apply agile project management principles. Also assist head in managing product development project from product development to actual implementation and product launch.
- Oversee and/or conduct user acceptance testing for both front- and back-end systems requirements.
- Coordinate with key units such as but not limited to Corporate Communications, Branding, Customer Experience, Customer Intelligence, Pricing and Life Operations prior, during and after product launch to maximize value of products.
- Assist head in implementing synergies across all business lines, coordinate the cross selling / upselling and other marketing efforts of the company for new products.
- Conduct market scan particularly during product conceptualization stage and contribute in writing the product conceptualization documents.
- Craft training material and other marketing-related collaterals which agents can use when selling new and existing products.
- Create technical documents such JIRA user and product requirements, terms and conditions, business rules, implementing guidelines, and policy contract.
- Conduct trainings and assist in mounting programs / campaigns which includes Go to Market Strategy to help in effectively promoting new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management, or other related courses
- Product management background from life insurance industry
- Knowledge of the life insurance business, products and processes and understands the end-to-end product development cycle for products
- Strong project management and product development skills
- At least four (4) years of work experience in financial industry, with more than 2 years in product development
