Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product and Advisory Specialist based Taguig, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The responsibilities include providing expert knowledge on our products, supporting customers, leading advisory sessions, and driving effective product solutions. Additional tasks include analyzing customer needs, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting sales efforts to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve climate risk assessment frameworks and methodologies, leveraging hands-on experience in climate modeling, climate analytics platforms, and the interpretation of climatological and meteorological datasets.
- Demonstrate strong capability in analyzing climate variables, evaluating physical climate risks, and applying climate science principles to generate data-driven insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop and articulate an ESG strategy that directly supports business strategies and goals.
- Design, implement, and manage corporate sustainability initiatives and strategies.Lead program and change management strategies related to ESG and business processes.
- Prepare annual ESG and Sustainability reports aligned with GRI, TCFD, CDP, UN SDGs and SASB reporting methodologies.
- Administer Komunidads ESG & Sustainability Suite for data collection using UNFCCC, GHG Protocol, and other greenhouse gas emission guidelines.
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes and procedures for data collection verification and audits.
- Act as a trusted sustainability advisor to data providers, supporting them during submissions, audits, and remediation activities.
- Proactively identify and recommend process and technology improvements to optimize ESG data management, verification, and audit workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Meteorology, Astronomy.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with proven proficiency in climate risk assessment frameworks and methodologies, with hands-on experience in climate modeling, climate analytics platforms, and the interpretation of climatological and meteorological data. Demonstrated ability to analyze climate variables, assess physical climate risks, and apply climate science principles to data-driven insights and decision-making.
- Minimum of 1 year of corporate sustainability experience in the private sector.
- Strong knowledge of global ESG and sustainability frameworks: GRI, UN SDGs, SASB, TCFD, and related standards.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting and carbon emissions reporting.
- Proven experience in designing or redesigning ESG and sustainability programs.
- Experience in consultancy or advisory roles related to ESG and sustainability is an advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multi-functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences.
