Job Description: Procurement Manager (Global IT & Infrastructure)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and commercially-driven Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for our global IT, software, and network infrastructure. This role is a critical blend of strategic negotiation and operational execution. You will be responsible for everything from high-stakes software renewals and legacy vendor governance to the physical logistics of international site build-outs and hardware migrations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Portfolio Oversight: Lead sourcing for Global Software (SaaS/Enterprise), IT Hardware, Professional Consultancy Services, and Network Equipment.

  • Infrastructure Build-Outs: Manage the procurement lifecycle for international site build-outs, including structured cabling, networking hardware, and connectivity services (ISP, DIA, and MPLS).

  • RFP Leadership: Oversee the full RFI, RFQ, and RFP process coordinating with vendors to analyze bids, perform cost evaluations, and provide data-backed recommendations to leadership.

2. Commercial Negotiation & Contract Governance

  • Deal Structuring: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and complex commercial contracts (NDA, MPA/MSA, SOW/Order Form, DPA).

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Legal, VMO, Data Privacy, and Information Security to ensure all contracts meet modern enterprise risk standards.

  • Legacy Remediation: Proactively engage long-term vendors to modernize outdated contracts, ensuring 100% compliance with current security guardrails and legal liability standards.

3. Operational Excellence & Global Logistics

  • Logistics & IOR Strategy: Oversee global device shipments and manage Importer of Record (IOR) strategies to ensure timely customs clearance and mitigate documentation gaps from vendors.

  • Financial Controls: Maintain CAPEX and OPEX trackers for IT equipment, ensuring all Purchase Orders (POs) are correctly liquidated against project codes and budget balances are communicated to stakeholders.

  • Specialized Spend Management: Implement and manage centralized payment policies for client-billable expenses to ensure transparency and ease of reconciliation for executive leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5-8 years in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.

  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of networking hardware (Cisco/equivalent), cabling standards, and the global telecommunications landscape.

  • Contractual Expertise: Strong experience in managing complex SaaS renewals and identifying opportunities for cost avoidance and SKU optimization.

  • Logistics Mastery: Experience navigating international customs, duties, and documentation requirements for global hardware deployments.

  • Communication: Ability to present complex savings data, logistics roadmaps,
