Job Description

Position Summary:

This role is primarily focused on the implementation and execution of procure-to-pay strategies and processes to meet operational needs efficiently, including supporting strategic sourcing and contracting to achieve cost savings. Key responsibilities include managing the entire procurement cycle for both operational and non-operational items, from checking purchase requisitions and vendor sourcing to contract negotiation, purchase order issuance, and managing logistics and scrap disposal. The specialist also performs tasks related to vendor due diligence, risk analysis, and collaboration with numerous internal departments and external entities like freight forwarders, government agencies, and vendors to ensure compliance and ethical practices across all activities.
