Job Summary

The Supply Chain Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the supply chain requirements of the plant's day-to-day operations by monitoring material availability, inventory levels, and procurement activities. The role ensures that critical materials, spare parts, and operational requirements are delivered on time to support continuous plant operations. This position also oversees procurement reporting, importation and customs incentives, and local sourcing activities, and serves as the primary Supply Chain Management point of contact for the plant.

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly supply chain and procurement monitoring reports covering:
    • Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Testing, Shipping, Port Release, Storage, Warranties, and Payment
    • Monitor availability and delivery status of critical materials, spare parts, and long-lead operational items.
    • Track supply timelines against operational requirements and maintenance schedules.
    • Identify leading indicators that may impact plant operations, inventory levels, or material availability.
    • Highlight risks, delays, and supply constraints, and recommend mitigation measures.
    • Validate supplier and procurement reports through documentation review, third-party inputs, and on-site monitoring when required. Customs Duties and Incentive Entitlements
      • Develop and monitor estimates for customs duties and applicable incentive entitlements.
      • Manage documentation and coordination related to duty-free importation and customs incentive applications.
      • Ensure timely processing and proper availing of approved incentives for imported operational materials, spare parts, and equipment. Local Sourcing and Logistics Support
        • Support sourcing and timely delivery of locally procured operational, maintenance, and non-project items.
        • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
        • Oversee coordination with insurance brokers for shipment inspections, claims, and related documentation.
        • Assist in resolving logistics, delivery, and documentation issues to minimize operational disruptions.
        • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
        • At least five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Logistics.
        • Experience supporting plant operations, maintenance, or industrial facilities is preferred.
        • Background in construction or project-based environments is an advantage but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
          • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes.
          • Working knowledge of importation procedures, customs processes, and Incoterms.
          • Familiarity with inventory management, spare parts planning, and operational material requirements.
          • Understanding of Quality Assurance and material inspection/testing processes for industrial equipment.
          • Strong coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
          • Willing to be assigned or work on-site in Batangas.
