Job Summary
The Senior Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for driving innovation and supporting the organization on process maturity and standardization, business performance efficiency and effectiveness and value generation through Lean Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events and the implementation of the Global Operational Excellence strategy.
Performance Management, Continuous Improvement & Operational Support
- Lead the strategic Operational Excellence BSO programs (Process improvement, Improve by Kaizen, Maturity Model, Automation, RPA)
- Drive efficiency (leverage) through process standardization, digitization and identification of appropriate functions to be automated or centralized.
- Change Management drive transformation and implement consistency across the region
- Provide leadership and oversee performance with the aim of expanding scope, minimizing risk to CBRE and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Take ownership of and lead an innovative digitization strategy within our business division
- Partner with Global or Regional FIO, FinPro , D&T, BSO teams to drive a culture of Operational Excellence.
- Accountable on the maintenance of the issue logs and liaise with users at all levels for resolution and translate issues to sustainable solutions (e.g. CI)
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about all products, systems and procedures that relate to the people, accounting and finance process
- Ability to facilitate and create documentations (e.g. SLA, SOPs), flowcharts (Swim lanes, process flows), diagrams and presentation decks
- Lead and drive center wide Continuous Improvement (CI) trainings, instill culture to the existing / new employees and responsible to ensure the CI items are actionable, executed and the tracking log are up-to-date
- Responsible for managing internal stakeholders expectations and development of relationships to maximize value from delivered initiatives

Project Management
- Manages the day-to-day execution of activities over programs/projects. Leads project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
- Drives and executes change initiatives and activities for projects or large subproject utilizing project management disciplines ensuring successful project delivery that is in line with the broader goals and objectives of the program. Identifies organizational change management impacts.
- Designs specific project plans including timelines, business cases, and resources ensuring design signoff by management.
- Ensures regulatory and compliance policies are adhered to in the projects and related operational risks are explicitly considered and managed in their implementation.
- Produces effective progress reports and communication mechanisms for the project to keep management apprised of the status, major risks and issues, scope changes, budgets, and milestone achievements or misses. Reports on metrics to measure all project benefits, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Identifies matters regarding resources and timelines and formally captures and communicates to management in order to seek support on any changes.
- Adheres to the governance structure. Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of processes under the scope.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage and communicate interdependencies where applicable. Leads and develops an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and rewards and recognition.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Proficient in English is mandatory as this role will require constant communication and dealings with our internal stakeholders and counterparts in the region.
- At least 10-12 years of related experience, with Shared Services functional expertise preferably in a Finance and Accounting context.
- Previous experience of working in an agile environment, using Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) with a track record of successfully managed projects driving performance, reduction of cost, improvement of business satisfaction.
- Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at every level of the organization, including top management.
- Effective leadership and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of process improvement, change management and project management methodologies.
- Understanding of automation and robotics projects in a SSC/BSO environment.
- Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to see broader picture.
- Ability to work under time pressure, prioritize, set and execute deadlines.
- Self-motivated, execution oriented, dynamic entrepreneurial with out of the box thinking.
- Excellent Excel data manipulation skills Excel 2007 (Lookups, pivot tables, If/Sum If statements - as a minimum), SQL/VBA skills is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Oracle / PeopleSoft is advantageous
Qualifications And Education
- The candidate must possess at least a University level degree in Business Administration/ Accounting/Finance/Statistic or Chartered Accountant / MBA
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
- PMP/PRINCE2/Agile Project Management Certification preferred
