Job Description
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Process Auditing, or a related role, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and applicable food safety regulations and standards.
- Proficient in conducting product, process, and system audits and inspections.
- Ability to review and interpret audit results, inspection findings, and monitoring records to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Highly detail-oriented and meticulous in conducting audits, verifying compliance, and maintaining accurate records to ensure traceability and minimize errors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of non-conformities and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to report audit findings, explain quality requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including plant personnel and management.
- HACCP Certification (Level 1 or 2).
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training Certificate.
- SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) Training Certificate.
- Verify Critical Control Points (CCPs), conduct daily process checks, and review HACCP monitoring records for compliance and completeness.
- Conduct routine process, product, and system audits to ensure adherence to established quality and food safety standards.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, customer requirements, regulatory standards, HACCP, GMP, and SSOP during plant operations.
- Inspect in-process and finished products against approved specifications and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report process deviations, non-conformities, and potential food safety risks.
- Recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effective implementation and closure.
- Analyze audit and inspection data to identify recurring issues, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely preparation, filing, and maintenance of HACCP and other quality records.
- Assist in internal, customer, third-party, and regulatory audits by preparing relevant documents, providing data, and addressing audit-related clarifications.
- Collaborate with plant and cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement, quality compliance, and a strong food safety culture.
