Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Technical Lead Oracle Cloud & Enterprise Platforms to act as the senior technical authority across the organization's Oracle ecosystem. This role will define architecture strategy, lead complex system integrations, and ensure high performance and scalability across cloud and enterprise Oracle environments. The successful candidate will combine deep Oracle expertise with modern cloud architecture principles and proven leadership experience in large-scale transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Technical Strategy
- Serve as the primary technical authority for the organization's Oracle platforms, including cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, integration services, and database technologies.
- Define and maintain the end-to-end Oracle architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives, scalability requirements, and security standards.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including migration of Oracle workloads to cloud and hybrid environments.
- Design and implement integrations between Oracle and third-party systems using modern API-driven and middleware-based approaches.
- Establish data architecture strategies including replication, synchronization, and real-time streaming capabilities.
Engineering Leadership & Delivery
- Oversee solution design, development, testing, and deployment across Oracle platforms to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement automation practices such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Define technical standards, best practices, and reusable reference architectures for Oracle-based development and integration.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support across application, middleware, database, and cloud layers.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Engage with technology vendors and product teams to stay informed on platform enhancements and licensing considerations.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to strengthen technical capabilities across the Oracle stack.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture governance forums and technical review boards.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Expertise
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle enterprise technologies, including at least 6 years in architecture or senior technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including core services such as compute, networking, storage, security, serverless functions, and API management.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 or later), including integrations and system customization.
- Proven experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle APEX.
- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Database technologies (19c or later), including Autonomous Database platforms and data replication/streaming tools.
- Experience designing modern integration architectures using REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, event-driven models, and messaging systems.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting or development languages such as Go and Python.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, performance optimization, and scalability strategies across Oracle applications and infrastructure.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (e.g., ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Exposure to customer service or service management cloud platforms within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments integrating Oracle with other major cloud providers.
- Knowledge of enterprise middleware, identity and access management, and data governance frameworks.

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in Oracle architecture or cloud technologies are advantageous.
