Principal Recruitment Consultant (Technology) – Hybrid Setup

About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished Principal Recruitment Consultant with deep expertise in technology hiring. This role is suited for a self-sufficient, high-impact professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings a strong track record in delivering niche, hard-to-fill tech talent. You will operate as a strategic partner to clients and stakeholders, driving both recruitment delivery and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end (360) recruitment for complex and niche technology roles across areas such as software engineering, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and emerging deep tech domains.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and hiring managers, providing consultative guidance on talent strategy, market mapping, and hiring plans.
- Lead proactive headhunting initiatives, leveraging an extensive personal network and advanced sourcing techniques to engage passive, high-caliber tech talent.
- Build, maintain, and continuously expand a strong pipeline of specialized technology professionals.
- Drive business development activities, including client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation.
- Deliver market intelligence, including salary benchmarking, competitor insights, and hiring trends within the technology landscape.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate and client experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within recruitment systems and track performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in technology recruitment, including at least 5 years within an agency (staffing/search firm) environment.
- Proven success in operating a 360 recruitment desk, covering both delivery and business development.
- Demonstrated expertise in headhunting, with a well-established network of technology professionals.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development capability, with a track record of winning and growing client accounts.
- Deep understanding of technical roles and emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, data engineering).
- Highly self-sufficient, proactive, and results-driven, able to operate in a plug-and-play capacity with minimal ramp-up time.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-performance recruitment environments is essential.
