Position Accountability Statement
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring assigned client accounts are contributory to the organization's profit by ensuring well calibrated pricing based on proper cost estimates and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Warehouse Architecture & Design:
Ensure best-in-class pricing, costing and profitability models are deployed in evey service, process design, vendor or provider negotiated rates, service or product offerings (including new services or products), and other areas affecting cost and Profitability
Monitor and report actual performance of assigned client accounts primarily from a financial standpoint but also giving consideration to non-financial factors behind account performance
Perform periodic and case-based variance analysis and investigation mainly related to account performance and factors affecting it
Collaborate with Actuarial Team to ensure cost estimates are reasonable and accounts for risks surrounding client accounts
Collaborate with Sales Team to ensure price quotation is viable for the target client and retains profitability targets for the portfolio
Provide timely and effective reports related to pricing and related activities and present such reports as necessary
Utilize systems thinking by understanding relationship of financial data points in processes, systems, and cross-functional dependencies in delivering financial plans and/or resolving current challenges, recurring problems, and key issues

Professional Qualification
3 to 5 years of experience in a finance role with:
Exposure to Pricing, Revenue Analysis, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning
& Analysis, and/or Financial Modelling
Engagements with senior management and/or stakeholders
As a minimum, basic use of ERP systems; preferably with involvement in
process reviews and improvement projects
Preferred industry orientation: Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or
any service-oriented industry
Degree in Business or Finance, preferably Accountancy
