Job Description

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Performs difficult professional level-work supporting all phases of the business development life cycle including modeling, forecasting, financial results reporting and variance analysis, detailed profitability analysis and ad hoc financial reporting. Design complex financial models in consideration of client requirements and budget, cost estimates and competitor pricing strategies.

Job Duties:

• Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and all other bid requests from existing and new clients.

• Identify and develop questions to support Growth and Transformation teams in developing pricing solutions.

• Prepare client pricing models and pricing analysis scenarios.

• Summarize and communicate pricing proposals.

• Complete all client provided templates and documents required to submit approved pricing.

• Analyze projected revenue and profitability from financial model versus actual.

• Track costs through client cost databases; incorporate trends into pricing model.

• Provide analysis of client cost structure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience – Required

EXPERIENCE:

Required experience: 1 - 3 years

  • 1 - 3 years experience including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting and planning and analysis

Preferred experience:

  • Hyperion experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

Specific Job Related Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics:

• Knowledge of Oracle accounting system is preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and database software applications.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and be skilled in financial modeling.

• Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial forecasting, analysis, and planning.

• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
