Job Description

The Presales Engineer and Technical Field Engineer are dual-role position responsible for both pre-sales technical support and onsite technical implementations. This role focuses on delivering advanced solutions based on fiber optic cable technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and additional value-added services related to internet connectivity. The role combines expertise in high-speed fiber optic networks, IoT integration, and a range services that enhance the overall customer experience.

The Presales Engineer works closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise, product demonstrations and solution designs to meet customer needs. You will be responsible for designing and recommending optimal fiber optic network architectures and IoT integrations based on client requirements.

As a Technical Field Engineer, the role involves hands-on, on-site work to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot internet service solutions, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This includes ensuring seamless service delivery, network efficiency and reliable technology implementations at client sites.

As Presales Engineer, you will collaborate with sales team to design tailored solutions while as Technical Field Engineer, you will manage the on-site installation and maintenance of these technologies.

Core Responsibilities

Presales Support

  • Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct technical product presentations, demonstrations, and webinars for potential clients
  • Design network solutions, including bandwidth requirements, hardware specifications, and overall architecture, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, including technical specifications and pricing.
  • Provide expert advice on ISP technologies and trends to help customers make informed decisions.

Technical Field Engineering

  • Install, configure and maintain ISP infrastructure, including routers, switches and wireless devices, at client sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues in the field.
  • Perform network testing and optimization to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure that installations are completed in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide post-installation support, including training clients on the use of ISP services and equipment.

Other Job Responsibilities

Administrative

  • Produce accurate service reports for internal tracking and client reference.
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols, maintaining efficiency and focus under pressure.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and field experience.
  • Act as a liaison between client and the technical team to ensure clear communication
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and ISP technologies to ensure competitiveness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of field activities and technical solutions.
  • Assist in resolving customer escalations by gathering information and developing solutions.

Teamwork

  • Collaborate with the technical team to share insights and improve project outcomes.
  • Facilitate open communication and ensure alignment among team members.
  • Acknowledge team contributions and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, or any related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in ISP, telecommunications, network engineering, or technical field support is an advantage
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of fiber optic technology, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, wireless devices, and basic network configuration
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, bandwidth management, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience in technical presentations, product demonstrations, or customer-facing roles is an advantage
  • Knowledge of IoT integration and internet connectivity solutions is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Willing to do field work and onsite deployments
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects
  • With high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Compensation: 35,000 - 40,000

13th month pay
