About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer Cloud (Azure) to support our business development and technical sales activities. The role involves engaging with clients to design, present, and propose cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, solution architecture, and client engagement, and is comfortable bridging business needs with technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop customized Azure cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase Azure capabilities.
- Design high-level architecture diagrams and solution proposals aligned with client goals.
- Work closely with delivery and implementation teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and scalable.
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and technical documentation requirements with clear, professional input.
- Estimate resource requirements and assist in preparing technical and financial proposals.
- Stay updated on Azure products, services, pricing models, and licensing options.
- Provide pre-sales technical consultancy and participate in client meetings, workshops, and technical Q&A sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to building reusable solution templates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a pre-sales, solution architect, or cloud engineering role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience designing solutions for cloud migration, networking, storage, identity management, and security.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and ARM templates.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Experience in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong documentation, proposal-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
