Duration: 6+month contract (Manager believes will be 12 months+)

Location: Hybrid, Cavite or Laguna, Philippines (will transition to fully remote)

Start Date: January

Interview: 30 minute virtual interview with Manager

Interview Times: this Thursday and Friday, 4-5pm IST

Pay rate: 15/hr - 26/hr USD

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-10 years experience in Power BI

-Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Microsoft Excel

-Experience with BI suites (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, QlikView) and data storytelling

-Experience with SQL BI development (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, T-SQL)

-Familiarity with DW technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure DevOps

-Knowledge of ETL processes for structured and unstructured data

-Strong communication and stakeholder engagement

-Exposure to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering industries

-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience

-Ability to go onsite in Cavite or Laguna starting out, and transition to remote

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for two Power BI Developers to play a critical role in enabling a data-driven culture for a customer by designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This role focuses on requirements gathering, dashboard/report development, and user enablement across multiple business functions. You will also contribute to data governance, access control, and explore advanced analytics opportunities such as machine learning and IoT.

-Requirements & Solutioning

-Conduct requirements gathering and scoping sessions with SMEs, business users, and executive stakeholders to define reporting needs.

-Translate business requirements into actionable BI solutions.

Report & Dashboard Development

-Independently develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools.

-Ensure data accuracy, usability, and visualization best practices.

User Enablement & Training

-Assist and train users from departments like Sales, Production, and Supply Chain to leverage Power BI effectively.

-Promote a data-driven culture through workshops, meetings, and internal initiatives.

Access Control & Governance

-Manage admin-level access control for data and reports across the organization.

-Maintain compliance with security and governance standards.

Innovation & Advanced Analytics

-Identify opportunities for applying advanced analytics, including machine learning and IoT.

-Collaborate with data engineering teams for ETL and data warehouse integration.

Operational Readiness

-Support field activities as needed, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of BI solutions.
