JOB SUMMARY
The role will support the Center of Excellence (CoE) in driving data-enabled decision-making across Group Digital. This role is responsible for developing Power BI reports, performance dashboards, and analytical insights that support value realization tracking, portfolio performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. A key part of this position is establishing reporting standards, creating guidelines, and sharing best practices with other functions. The role ensures consistent, high-quality data visualization and performance measurement approaches across the CoE.
The role will report to the Communication and Performance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Performance Monitoring & Value Realization
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for value realization tracking, performance measurement, and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with teams to collect requirements and translate them into structured analytical outputs.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardization of performance data used across CoE reporting.
- Support development of frameworks and metrics to evaluate digital initiatives and measure value outcomes.
2 Power BI Development & Data Management
- Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Power BI reports, datasets, data models, and data flows.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, modeling, and validation using Power Query and DAX.
- Ensure alignment with organizational data governance guidelines and secure data handling.
3 CoE Standards, Guidelines & Best Practices
- Draft reporting guidelines, dashboard standards, visualization best practices, and documentation for internal users.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, learning materials, and hands-on demos for delivery teams.
- Promote consistency and adoption of CoE-approved analytics and reporting practices across functions.
4 Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with function teams to align reporting requirements and methodologies.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and provide insights.
- Support CoE in identifying reporting improvement opportunities and streamlining analytical processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Solid understanding of KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and value measurement concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business questions into data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with multicultural and cross-regional teams in an effective and timely manner.
- Strong ownership and proactive deadline management to drive task completion.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience creating reporting standards or process guidelines.
- Exposure to IT project environments, digital transformation, or portfolio management.
- Familiarity with Power Automate or similar workflow tools is a plus.
- Experience with SQL or other data sources used for BI integration.
- Ability to train users and explain data concepts clearly.
- Ability to stay positive and prioritize effectively when even handling requests with short lead time.
- Japanese language proficiency is a strong plus.
