Summary of position:
The Power BI Analyst will work as part of the Scrum team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and maintaining business intelligence solutions utilizing Power BI. This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights to support decision-making processes across the organization.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with business process owners to understand reporting requirements and document requests
- Document requirements in an agile process utilizing a tool like Microsoft DevOps or JIRA
- Document the data ingestion and transformation processes required for ETL operations
- Work as part of the scrum team
- Work closely with BI architect and engineering team
- Ensure testing and documentation are created or updated in accordance with Abbott SLC standards
- Promote a continuous improvement culture and environment that encourages cooperation, open communication, teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Effectively communicate and maintain productive relationships with business users, peers, and fellow development/product team members, including architects and engineers, business analysts, IT project managers, and senior management

- Prior experience with Power BI
Experience Required:
- One+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence or Power BI Business Analyst
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
- Strong understanding of data warehouse best practices and functionality
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
