Job Description

Role Purpose:

  • To monitor and manage the bank's credit portfolio, proactively identify adverse trends and vulnerabilities, facilitate balanced and sustainable growth of the bank
  • To facilitate risk intelligence and risk data enhancement initiatives
  • To support department head for comprehensive risk management work and risk reporting

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for credit portfolio management tasks, including monitoring of asset quality trend, limit utilization, portfolio concentration analysis, collateral pool analysis and credit risk stress testing. Proactively conduct trend analysis and support thematic portfolio review when necessary
  2. Support the bank's month-end and year-end closing process. Review client ratings, loan classifications and loan provisions, and ensure compliance with risk management policy. Coordinate with regional headquarter when necessary.
  3. Prepare all portfolio reports and analyses results in time, following the requirements and definitions of Parent Bank/ the Branch
  4. Represent the Branch in regional credit risk projects: Basel compliance and use of internal credit rating, models & methodology enhancement (credit rating and IFRS9 ECL), and ESG implementation, among others. Support location implementation and ensure documentation is complete for BSP compliance requirements.
  5. Support the Unit Head with comprehensive risk management of the branch, coordination work and provide guidance to Business Control Managers, Parent Bank communication, and risk culture enhancement
  6. Support the RMD Head with risk governance and risk reporting in the Risk Oversight and Internal Control Committee (ROICC).
  7. DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION - Be part of the bank's digital transformation efforts including but not limited to, being assigned to agile teams, and work on the required deliverables or take on additional business as usual functions designated by department/unit heads.
  8. CUSTOMER-CENTRIC CULTURE - Participate in customer-centric projects, initiatives and program led by designated teams in the organization.

Job Specifications:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance
  • At least three (3) years of experience in banking industry
  • At least three (3) - Five (5) year of experience with risk management
