Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or any related
course.
- Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) by DENR-EMB or willing to obtain
accreditation.
- At least 23 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, manufacturing, or
industrial operations.
- Knowledgeable in Philippine environmental laws and regulations (RA 8749, RA 9275, RA
9003, RA 6969).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Functions
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable environmental laws, DENR regulations,
permits, and clearances.
- Monitor and control air emissions, wastewater discharges, solid and hazardous waste
generation and disposal.

- Act as the official liaison with DENR, EMB, LGUs, and other regulatory bodies during
inspections, audits, and investigations.
- Implement and maintain the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) and
pollution prevention programs.
- Investigate environmental incidents, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and
ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct environmental training and awareness programs for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental permits, licenses, and compliance
documents.
- Industrial Engineer (IE) Functions
- Analyze production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives aligned with environmental
sustainability and waste reduction.
- Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, resource
utilization, and waste generation.
- Support continuous improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
