Role Description The Pollution Control Officer is a full-time, on-site role located in Trece Martires, responsible for overseeing environmental compliance within the facility. This position monitors air, water, and waste management activities, ensuring that operations meet all relevant environmental laws, permits, and regulatory requirements. The role includes conducting regular inspections, recording emissions and waste data, coordinating environmental impact assessments, and preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies. The Pollution Control Officer collaborates with production and maintenance teams to implement pollution prevention measures, leads environmental training, and supports incident investigation and corrective actions. The role also involves staying informed about changes in environmental policies and standards and recommending improvements to reduce the facility's environmental footprint.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Issues, including practical experience in monitoring and reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Policy and Environmental Law, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to facility operations.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment, including data collection, analysis, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, particularly in pollution control or environmental management, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, conduct training, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local and national environmental regulations and standards applicable to industrial operations in the Philippines.
