Job Qualification
Must be a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental Science/Chemical/Mechanical/ or equivalent).
Must be familiar with Philippine Environmental Laws and Regulations.
Must be familiar with Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
Must have knowledge in facilitating solid waste disposal, hazardous waste including emergency response.
Must have a knowledge in statistical analysis tools.
Must be familiar with in facilitating ambient test, Stack Emission Test, water sampling, monitoring sewage treatment facility.
Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is a plus.
Must have the following skills, abilities, and attributes: ability to collect, record, and interpret data. Ability to communicate information by oral and written methods and to interact with the government personnel. Good in diagnosing/investigating skills, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills (facilitating and negotiating), patient, hardworking, assertive, and keen with details.
Responsibilities
Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify pollution sources.
Develop and implement pollution control strategies and plans.
Monitor pollution levels in air, water, and soil regularly.
Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Collaborate with industries to reduce emissions and waste.
Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.
Advise on best practices for pollution prevention and control.
Stay updated on new technologies and environmental policies.
Conduct training and awareness programs for staff and community.
Investigate pollution incidents and recommend corrective actions.
SALARY RANGE: 25,000 – 28,000
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday
WORK LOCATION: Lot No.10A Mountain Drive, Light lndustry & Science Park ll-SEZ, Brgy.La Mesa, Calamba, Laguna.
