Job Description

  • The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Political Science and allied fields.
  • They should demonstrate excellence in teaching, curriculum development, research, and extension service.
  • The position entails the design of an innovative syllabi, the pursuit of original research with relevant community impact, and meaningful engagement in community development initiatives of the university.
  • The Political Science Instructor is expected to provide academic advising and mentorship while contributing to the mission of GPS in advancing good governance, policy innovation, and public service.

Qualifications

  • At least a Masters degree in Political Science or a closely related discipline (Doctorate preferred)
  • At least two years of distinguished college-level teaching experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in governance, public policy, or related areas of political inquiry
  • Industry experience in government and/or public service is an advantage
  • Evidence of research productivity and active involvement in community development or policy-oriented projects
