The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Political Science and allied fields.
They should demonstrate excellence in teaching, curriculum development, research, and extension service.
The position entails the design of an innovative syllabi, the pursuit of original research with relevant community impact, and meaningful engagement in community development initiatives of the university.
The Political Science Instructor is expected to provide academic advising and mentorship while contributing to the mission of GPS in advancing good governance, policy innovation, and public service.
Qualifications
At least a Masters degree in Political Science or a closely related discipline (Doctorate preferred)
At least two years of distinguished college-level teaching experience
Demonstrated expertise in governance, public policy, or related areas of political inquiry
Industry experience in government and/or public service is an advantage
Evidence of research productivity and active involvement in community development or policy-oriented projects
