As Policy Advocacy Manager, you will Monitoring and analyzing policy and regulatory developments from DOE, ERC, and other relevant bodies to ensure ARI remains updated and well-positioned, Collating, organizing, and synthesizing policy/regulatory issuances and industry information into structured updates for internal use, Conducting analytical research on policy matters, including evaluating potential impacts on ARI's projects, portfolio, and strategic direction, Drafting and supporting the preparation of policy briefs, commentaries, positions, and internal recommendations for key decision-makers, Maintaining a holistic view of evolving market conditions, stakeholder movements, and sector trends to support ARI's advocacy and strategic posture, Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on policy positions and regulatory activities and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with AP Investments to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Policy Monitoring & Regulatory Intelligence - Monitor key agencies for policy updates, maintain a repository, assess impacts, and track market, competitor, and stakeholder developments.
- Policy Research, Assessment & Recommendations - Conduct policy research and analysis; prepare briefs and recommendations; align with internal teams; and support strategic and project initiatives.
- Policy Advocacy & Stakeholder Coordination - Support participation in consultations and hearings; manage stakeholder relationships; and monitor industry positions to guide advocacy.
- Other Responsibilities - Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-changing policy environment
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Familiarity with Philippine energy policy and regulatory frameworks (DOE, ERC, NGCP, PEMC, etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills, especially for drafting policy documents, commentaries, and regulatory-style submissions
- Understanding of energy market dynamics, industry trends, and stakeholder movements
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deliver quick-turnaround outputs, and organize large volumes of information
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills across internal teams and external stakeholders
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, Law, or any related 4-year course
- 5 years of relevant experience in policy research, regulatory affairs, energy sector analysis, or related fields
- Experience in any role involving coordination or leadership preferred
