You design and coordinate plumbing and fire protection systems that meet code, perform reliably, and integrate cleanly with multidisciplinary building designs. Your work directly impacts commercial and residential projects by ensuring system capacity, compliance, and constructability are resolved before construction begins.

You operate within defined project scopes, collaborating with architects, MEP/FP/IT teams, and vendors to deliver coordinated drawings, calculations, and specifications. This role suits engineers who prefer technical ownership, structured design standards, and measurable outputs over ambiguous or purely conceptual work.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Practical experience performing load calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for producing coordinated construction documents
• Working knowledge of IPC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and relevant building codes
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external consultants
• Willingness to work 11:00 PM8:00 AM, MondayFriday (U.S.-aligned schedule)

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Plumbing & Fire Protection System Design

You own the technical integrity of plumbing and fire protection systems from concept through documentation.

• Perform load calculations, pipe sizing, and system analysis
• Develop system layouts and detailed construction drawings
• Select and specify equipment aligned with project requirements

Interdisciplinary Coordination

You ensure plumbing systems integrate cleanly with architectural and MEP designs.

• Coordinate with MEP/FP/IT teams and external consultants
• Identify and resolve design conflicts early
• Maintain alignment with project schedules and milestones

Documentation & Technical Deliverables

You translate engineering intent into complete, build-ready documentation.

• Produce drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare technical specifications and supporting calculations
• Incorporate code requirements into all design outputs

Construction Administration

You maintain design continuity through project execution.

• Respond to RFIs and technical clarifications
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturer representatives
• Validate equipment selections and submittals
