Your Role
As a Plumbing & Drainage Asset Manager, you will:
- Manage the national ownership and accountability for Plumbing & Drainage, STP, and WTP assets to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation.
- Directly manage Australian Contractors to improve customer outcomes and business performance while driving delivery on quoted obligations.
- Execute the end-to-end Work Order process, including prioritization, contractor selection, and follow-up through to invoice processing.
- Ensure robust safety protocols and compliance with Workplace Clearance Group (WPCG) Standards for works within hazardous areas.
- Analyze budget planning and track key metrics to measure safety gains, cost savings, and asset uptime.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-site Plumbing & Drainage-related maintenance environment.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, interpret obligations, and ensure contracted services are fully delivered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage Australian contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Availability to work 5 days per week in the Eastwood office and participate in an on-call / after-hours roster.
- Proficiency in prioritizing and managing tasks across multiple disciplines in high-risk safety environments.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Multi-site, high-volume retail site experience, specifically within a petrol and convenience-related business.
- Technical knowledge of other maintenance categories such as Fuel Systems, HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contractor reports, pricing, and quotations in detail.
- Experience using CMMS tools (such as MC / TAG) and implementing innovative productivity solutions.
- Proven capability in technical problem-solving and making risk-based decisions under pressure.
