The Playwright QA is a detail-oriented and proactive professional responsible for analyzing requirements and defects, designing and executing test cases, managing issues, and ensuring the overall quality of applications before release. This role collaborates closely with the client's QA Manager, QA Lead, developers, and business analysts to ensure that the software meets business needs and quality standards, while being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases
- Execute manual tests to validate functionality
- Identify, log, present, and track defects
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, leads, and managers on requirements, defect resolution, and testing activities.
- Perform test analysis and design, regression testing and defect verification
- Participate in test strategy definition and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Prepare and maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation
- Provide timely and accurate test execution status and reporting
- Perform administrative tasks such as submitting timesheets, updating EOS, and other project-related requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2-8 years of solid experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking tool preferably ADO and GitHub/ZenHub
- Experience with test automation using Playwright
- Understanding of Case Management solutions is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
