Job Summary: The Platform Technical Lead functions as an emerging expert, design, develop and implement complex business processes using the Bank's automation platforms. Work with teams on multiple, highly complex engagements. Serve as the technical lead for engagements by ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery in compliance with coding standards, conducting architecture and code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. This role also involves refining scope, estimating work, managing client expectations, addressing risks, and working on complex modules while formulating structured plans to meet objectives.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for an engagement
- Ensure timely delivery of the project with quality in compliance with coding standards and best practices set by the team and platform architects
- Conduct regular architecture and code reviews for the project
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to more junior Business Process Automation Engineers
- Work to refine desired scope and develop a basis of estimates for planned work, including identification of objectives, time frames, risks, costs, and manpower estimates
- Work on complex and critical modules and bug fixes
- Help identify project risks and steps to mitigate those risks
- Formulate complex plans which outline steps required to meet client objectives, applying structured analysis and design
- Work directly with clients to manage expectations through recurring meetings and in-person visits
