Summary: You will provide platform health and availability monitoring services for all in-scope platforms leveraged for logging and monitoring services. This work includes alerting, responding and remediation of operational issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the health and availability of the SIEM, UEBA, and other in-scope tools leverages for logging and monitoring and ensure timely resolution of operational issues
• Robust data pipeline monitoring for data quality issues impacting analytics such as missing sources, fields, bad values, data drop-offs, data outages, pipeline lag, data cross contamination, etc
• Development of operational monitoring that detects platform and component level outages and service degradation
• Conducting regular operational monitoring gap analysis and identification of opportunities to improve mean time to detect and resolve issues
• Troubleshooting and timely resolution of general operational issues with SIEM, UEBA, or other components supporting analytics workloads. Reporting issues to vendors supporting components as needed for issues that cannot otherwise be solved due to bugs, lack of access to SaaS backend, etc.
• Reporting actions taken to resolve issues and any preventative measures taken to mitigate future issues risk
• Perform post-patch validations to ensure Logging and Monitoring Services integrity following maintenance activities
• Routine reporting of platform component performance, service availability and performance issues and related items

Experience:

• At least 2-3 years in Cyber Security and SIEM Administration, proficiency with Major SIEM platforms like Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Required: SIEM Platform Proficiency - hands-on experience with Splunk
• Log Analysis and Management - experience in collecting, parsing, normalizing, and analyzing logs from various sources
• Network and Systems - Deep understanding of network protocols and common operating systems and cloud environments
• Security tools- Familiar with EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalls and Vulnerability management tools

Additional Information:

• This position is based at our Cubao office, with possible shifting schedule and hybrid work set up
