Reports directly to the Head, Technology and Implementation under the Chief Business Development Office and responsible for the design, delivery, and management of the components and features that will be enabled within the EWB API Portal.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in platform development and management.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or digital platforms preferred.
- Experience working with business client-facing interfaces or platform-based systems.
Responsibilities
Platform ownership & strategy
- Owns the API Portal as a core Banking-as-a-Service platform capability.
- Defines the scope, features, and roadmap of the API Portal.
- Ensures the platform supports efficient partner onboarding and integration.
- Aligns platform capabilities with the overall BaaS strategy and product direction.
Platform development & delivery
- Leads the enhancement and evolution of API Portal features and tools.
- Works closely with IT, UX, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
- Ensures platform components are scalable, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
- Oversees implementation of new portal features and improvements.
User experience & enablement
- Owns the developer and partner experience across the API Portal.
- Ensures clarity, usability, and consistency of portal workflows and interfaces.
- Drives improvements to onboarding flows, documentation access, and self-service features.
- Utilizes usage data and feedback to improve platform usability and effectiveness.
Governance, quality, and standards
- Ensures the API Portal complies with security, architecture, and regulatory standards.
- Works with Architecture, Security, and Compliance teams to validate platform features.
- Ensures proper documentation, versioning, and change management of portal features.
- Maintains alignment with enterprise technology and governance frameworks.
Collaboration & enablement
- Works closely with Product, Operations, and Support teams to enable smooth partner onboarding and production support.
- Supports internal stakeholders with platform-related guidance and clarifications.
- Acts as the point of coordination for platform-related enhancements and improvements.
