Job Description

Hiring Entity:Pinnacle Quality Foods Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation

Location:Danao City, Cebu (or nearby areas)

The Plant HR Manager will play a strategic and hands-on role in supporting the full employee lifecycle within the commissary. This position ensures that people-related initiatives effectively contribute to business goals and long-term organizational growth. The role will partner closely with leaders and employees to drive talent strategies, enhance organizational capability, and maintain a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support workforce planning by validating staffing requirements, analyzing current and future talent needs, and identifying critical skill gaps to ensure the commissary has the right people in the right roles at the right time.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with external talent sourcesincluding universities, agencies, and local networksto maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and long-term hiring needs.
  • Align divisional goals with company-wide objectives by managing and updating competency frameworks, ensuring clarity of expectations, and helping leaders translate organizational priorities into actionable team targets.
  • Facilitate competency assessments and performance initiatives by coordinating evaluation tools, supporting calibration discussions, and guiding managers in implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Lead the full assessment and selection process, including candidate profiling, behavioral and competency-based interviewing, administering assessments, and ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated onboarding experience.
  • Oversee the design and execution of employee development programs, ensuring they meet operational needs, comply with training standards, and are well-documented for audit readiness and future reference.
  • Maintain complete and accurate training records by collaborating closely with Corporate HR and external training partners to ensure certifications, attendance logs, and learning documents are consistently updated and organized.
  • Conduct initial job evaluations and work with Corporate Compensation & Benefits to implement aligned salary structures while providing employees and managers with guidance on policies, procedures, and compensation-related clarifications.
  • Manage compensation and benefits processes, ensuring timely facilitation of benefit availments, effective resolution of payroll or benefits concerns, and support for employee relations through engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and fair handling of disciplinary cases.
  • Monitor HR budget usage and ensure compliance, maintaining alignment with HR key result areas while enforcing company policies, safety protocols, and local labor regulations through coordination with government agencies when required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related fields.
  • 45 years of HR business partnering experience, preferably in a multinational or large-scale manufacturing environment.
  • Strong recruitment background and proven ability to enhance talent management strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching and training managers and employees.
  • Exceptional organizational, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
  • Must be residing in, or have family ties within, Danao City, Cebu or nearby municipalities.
