About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Planswift Specialist with strong experience in
construction estimating. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accurate material take-offs, quantity surveys, and cost estimations using
Planswift software for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform take-offs and quantity estimations for architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using Planswift.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, material lists, and labor requirements.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to verify quantities and costs.
- Update and maintain estimate databases, cost histories, and reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Planswift software (experience with Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- At least 2 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in estimating for residential, commercial, or fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with cost databases and project bidding processes.
