Your impact
As a Piping Engineering Professional, you will play a key role in our design team and contribute significantly to the piping engineering and design work across our projects. You will collaborate closely with the Piping Lead, Piping Stress Engineers, Designers, and other discipline teamsmaking strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills essential to your success.
We are seeking someone with a strong foundation in piping engineering principles, familiarity with relevant codes and standards, and the ability to understand how piping design integrates with and influences other engineering disciplines. You will be entrusted with meaningful responsibility, and your career growth will be driven by your motivation, technical capability, and desire to take initiative.
This role also provides opportunities for leadership. You may serve as a Lead Piping Engineer on smaller projects or as a SubLead on larger, multidisciplinary efforts. In these assignments, you will work independently, guide a team of designers and engineers, and support the successful delivery of all piping and mechanical activities.

Here's what you'll need
Piping Engineering & Design
- Participate in technical meetings and 3D model reviews.
- Prepare and review engineering documents, including drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
- Evaluate equipment and piping layouts for optimal installation.
- Review piping supports, MTOs, layouts, and isometrics.
- Review and approve vendor drawings.
- Prepare and maintain piping line lists; ensure P&IDs conform to material specifications.
- Select special piping materials and prepare SP item lists when required.
- Perform thickness and pressure-retaining component calculations (pipe wall, spectacle blinds, etc.).
Workload & Scope Management
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, even with minimal direction.
- Define scope clearly and estimate effort required for completion.
- Identify and escalate scope changes to the Piping Lead or Project Manager.
- Deliver work in a timely, accurate, and costeffective manner.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers, drafters, and junior engineers.
- Contribute to improving workflows, systems, and tools within the discipline.
- Embrace and support the integration of new technologies.
Lead Piping Engineer (Project Assignment)
- Act as Piping Lead, developing and managing piping specifications and engineered components.
- Evaluate bidder lists and assist with assessing fabrication facilities.
- Understand and oversee the full piping scope and its interfaces with other disciplines.
- Take full responsibility for all piping deliverables, including calculations and construction documents.
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and staffing for the piping scope.
- Represent the discipline in project meetings, facilitating issue resolution across teams.
