Your impact

In this role, you will

  • Perform plant and piping design activities as a member of a taskforce under the guidance of a team leader.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline designers on plant and piping design work using 3D integrated design systems (e.g., AP3D, CADWorx3D).
  • Conduct self-quality reviews for 3D modeling and piping deliverables.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor bid evaluations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering with experience in piping design for the chemical industry and 3D modeling using tools like AP3D or CADWorx.
  • Skilled in Navisworks for model reviews and clash detection, with knowledge of LEAN principles and piping design standards (US/EU).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in stress analysis, equipment layout, piping design, and pipe supports.
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments with clients and vendors.
  • Experience with laser scan point clouds and fieldwork is an advantage; must apply directly to Jacobs to be considered (no agency representation).
