PHP Developer

Under the supervision of the IT Project Manager, this key position is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of company web pages using programming technologies such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and MySQL, in collaboration with other developers.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, builds, and maintains core PHP-based applications based on approved requirements and specifications.
• Interprets written business requirements and technical specifications, and translates it into codes that can be executed on a computer system.
• Analyzes codes, and detects bugs or any technical errors that may have arisen from BTS-managed applications.
• Runs regular site tests to ensure proper functioning.
• Identifies and fixes compatibility issues between a variety of platforms and browsers.
• Ensures detailed and complete documentation of programs and procedures.
• Creates and delivers proper guidance and support on the page content and other features for internal client website.
• Collaborates with other development teams in developing content, and solutions, and resolving conflicts.
• Recommends improvements on web usability, site performance, and database design.
• Stays up-to-date with current programming practices and web technologies.
• Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BSIT or any related course.
• At least 3 years experience in PHP Development, ticketing systems, and/or related.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, JQuery.
• Basic knowledge of handling Linux servers.
