We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated
Payroll Practitioner I to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential tasks to establish and maintain accurate employee/payroll records within our organization. Your duties will encompass a range of responsibilities, including checking and auditing timekeeping records to ensure compliance with established standards, maintaining meticulous time and attendance records, and accurately entering new hires into our payroll system.
Additionally, you will play a key role in posting changes in pay and tax status, as well as handling miscellaneous updates related to employee payroll records. The tasks associated with this position are generally routine, involving little or no deviation from established procedures. As a Payroll Practitioner I, you will work under close supervision, ensuring the utmost precision and attention to detail in every aspect of your responsibilities.

Payroll Practitioner I is responsible for the following:
- Review New Hire profiles sent from HRIS provider
- Rehire Team Members
- Process Terminations
- Benefit True ups
- Equipment fee calculation
- Timesheet corrections
- Process payroll
- Direct Deposit returns
- Company gift gross ups
- 401K maintenance
- Organizational Changes
- Scan and Submit Garnishment orders and Tax Cases to HRIS provider
The
Payroll Practitioner I Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records. Duties may include checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards, maintaining time and attendance records, entering new hires into the payroll system, posting changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changes. Tasks are generally routine and require little or no deviation from established procedures. Works under close supervision.
Some Of What You Will Do
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledgeable of Company Policy as it pertains to Payroll
- Monitor the payroll and direct the preparation of payroll related documents
- Prepare Welcome Emails for New Hires
- Address New Hire Pay rates with Onboarding Team
- Assist with Timesheet corrections
- Resolve PTO Balance issues
- Resolve issues relating to payroll production
Qualifications
- US Payroll experience required
- At least GED completer with equivalent experience or and a good math/accounting aptitude
- Requires office experience plus knowledge of calculator and word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
- Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
- Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK PH NIGHT SHIFT
