A successful
Data Engineer will actively participate in the design, development, and operation of a modern data platform that supports Carenet Health's business strategy and delivers trusted data-as-a-service capabilities with a focus on data quality, reliability, and ease of use.

Responsibilities- Work with data and BI teams and business stakeholders to design, build and populate the data warehouse.
- Ingest data from on-prem and cloud-based source systems.
- Build, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines.
- Evaluate storage needs and take a hands-on approach to provision and build the required infrastructure.
- Model data marts and generate all DDL.
- Test and tune various data architectures to optimize cost and performance.
- Analyze raw data
- Develop and maintain datasets
- Improve data quality and efficiency
QualificationsEducation/Experience: - Minimum 3 years of experience as an ETL/ELT developer or data engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server platform, including SSIS and SSRS. Exposure to SSAS a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex ETL jobs using SSIS.
- Proficiency in analyzing and tuning SQL processes and queries.
- Experience producing relational data models.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (dimensions, facts, star schemas).
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server administration.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
- Experience with tools and techniques for data masking and data anonymization.
- Some hands-on experience with Azure data stack, in particular, ADF and Azure SQL.
- T-SQL / Ansi SQL expertise
Desirable Technical Skills- Exposure to big data tools and technologies (Spark, data lakes, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, especially document store and key-value types.
- Python, C#, R, Javascript
