Location: Philippines (Metro Manila preferred)

Overview

We are experiencing significant growth in the Philippines driven by both new and existing client demand using virtual independent contractors and working with strategic BPO partners within region. While recruitment is well underway, we are seeking a seasoned Site/Operations Manager to establish and lead local operations within our models. This role will serve as the face of our organization in the region, ensuring seamless onboarding, compliance, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day agent and independent contractor operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
  • Vendor management experience with in-country service providers who are Employee of Record (EOR) for local agents.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for local operational issues.

Client Engagement

  • Maintain a professional workspace presence to host client visits and represent the company locally, acting as local liaison to support client relationships and regional growth.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with recruitment teams to support hiring efforts of in-country support and ensure smooth vetting and onboarding processes.
  • Monitor and improve onboarding workflows for efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee learning delivery

Compliance & Governance

  • In depth understanding of local labor laws (including differentiation of employee versus independent contractor regulations), data privacy regulations and company policies, ensuring stringent adherence in each. .
  • Coordinate with legal and HR teams to manage documentation and audits.
  • Manage payments
  • Build partnerships with in-country service providers. Vendor management capabilities (moved to above section out of compliance and governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management or equivalent
  • 5+ Years in operations management, preferably within a BPO or virtual contact center environment
  • 3+ years in team leadership, particularly focused on managing remote or distributed teams
  • Self motivated, growth focused and ability to work independently
  • Flexible schedules to accommodate US hours when needed
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and compliance practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with international teams and clients.
