Job Description

Role Overview:

The Performance Management (PM) Officer plays a key role in supporting HR programs that strengthen employee performance, development, and career progression. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, and development program nominations across Head Office and business units.

Job Responsibilities:

Performance Appraisal & Merit Increase/Promotion (PAR & MI/P)

  • Process the Bank's Performance Appraisal Review (PAR) and Annual Merit Increase/Promotion.
  • Generate PAR-related reports from the Performance Management System and encode required information into the Financial Database System.
  • Monitor timely submission of PAR documents, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • Evaluate Business Unit MI/P recommendations based on guidelines and eligibility criteria.
  • Ensure all MI/P data is complete and accurate before turnover to HRG-Compensation for payroll implementation.

Employee Development Programs

  • Handle pre and post-screening of nominations for the Officership Development Program (ODP), Career Accelerator Program (CAP), and Relationship Manager Training Program (RMTP).
  • Assess recommendations against program criteria and coordinate endorsements for training registration and rank conferment.

Documentation & Communication

  • Prepare memos, reports, and other communication materials related to PM, MI/P, ODP, CAP, and RMTP.

Stakeholder Support

  • Respond to inquiries regarding PAR, MI/P, ODP, CAP, and RMTP.
  • Perform additional tasks as may be assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in performance management or other HR-related functions
  • Knowledge of PM, MI/P, and ODP policies and procedures
  • Understanding of performance management and improvement methodologies
  • Experience working with HR systems
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
